East Devon Carers’ Link

If you are looking after a neighbour, relative or friend who is disabled, elderly, frail, or is suffering with a physical or mental illness, and who could not otherwise live at home without your help and support – you are invited to register on the Carers’ Link.

By joining the link as a Carer, you will gain:

  • The recognition of your role as a valuable member of the Health and Social Services team in your caring role
  • The offer of a Carers’ Assessment and care plan
  • Access to East Devon Carer Support Scheme and other local Carer support groups
  • A Carers’ information pack
  • A newsletter giving local information
  • A free Benefits check

The East Devon Carers’ Link will help local Health and Social Services to identify and support you as a Carer, provide good information, involve you in local plans and improve awareness of your needs.

To request a Carers’ Link form, please e-mail: edlink@edvsa.org.uk giving your name and postal address, or telephone: 01404 44411
