Joining and Using Side by Side

Side by Side is a referral only project. Referrals can be obtained by people with a mental health diagnosis from their keyworker / care coordinator.

Things you should know about Side by Side:

You choose what you want to do, how much time you can spare, and for how long you want to continue

  • You join a small group of volunteers, with Kate to help and support you all
  • We can help you with transport
  • We will cover your expenses
  • We will provide training and equipment
  • The work you will do is very useful, and a lot of fun!
  • We also organise fun social events and outings, so you can meet our other volunteers

Using the services of the Side by Side Project

We can provide practical admin support and assistance for charities and not for profit organisations,

We also have a gardening and conservation team for charities and not for profit organisations

The admin team can offer use of:

  • Risograph
  • Photocopier
  • Collate newsletters, mail outs, reports and promotional material, We will compile and send these for you
